Bianca Abrams is the founding Executive Director of Math for America DC. She joined Carnegie Institution for Science as a Director of MfA DC in 2008. Before working at MƒA DC, Bianca taught mathematics (Teach for America '06 Corp) at Cesar Chavez Public Charter High School for Public Policy, Capitol Hill Campus in Washington, D.C. Prior to relocating to D.C., she worked for almost 12 years in the financial services organizations in New York City.
Bianca earned an M.A.T. in Secondary Mathematics Education from American University, and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from New York University, Stern School of Business.

MƒA DC Master Teacher Program Coordinator MƒA DC Bill Day earned his B.A. in mathematics from Bowdoin University and his Master's in Education from the University of Washington-Seattle. Bill joined Math ƒor America DC as a Master Teacher in 2012, and has become a Master Teacher Program Coordinator in 2017. Bill is teaching math for over 10-years, currently at Two Rivers Public Charter Middle School. In 2013-14, Bill earned the distinction of Washington, D.C. Teacher of the Year, awarded to the best teacher in the city in any subject |
