Amador JomuadAmador Jomuad earned his B.A. in Secondary Math Education from Mindanao State University, Philippines, and his M.Ed. in Physics Education from De Lasalle University, Manila, as a DECS NEAP scholar. He also completed the academic requirements for an M.A. in Mathematics at Western Mindanao State University.
Amador has been teaching mathematics for 25 years. He is the Math Department Chair and the LEAP leader at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School where he has been teaching Geometry and IB Mathematics for 12 years. In 2013, Amador was awarded the Rubenstein Award for Highly Effective High School Mathematics Teaching which honors excellent teachers, school leaders and support staff and aides with an award. He joined Math ƒor America DC as a Master Teacher in 2017. |
